| SIGNS OF THE END OF THE WORLD IN BIBLICAL PROPHECY In Matthew, Chapter 24, Jesus' disciples asked him the following 3 questions regarding the End of the World Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, 1. Tell us, when shall these things be? and 2. What shall be the sign of thy coming, 3. And of the end of the world? Matthew 24: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Jesus answered the 3 questions asked by the disciples by giving them a number of signs to which he added a great amount of detail after his resurrection in the last book of the Bible, the Book of Revelation. Though many have attempted to set dates for the end of the world, Jesus made it very clear that only the generation that saw ALL THESE THINGS HAPPEN (all the signs that Jesus gave and the events recorded in the book of Revelation) would see his return and the end of the world. All those signs have not yet been seen, so though the return of Jesus may be near, it is yet not so close that we can set a date on it. Keeping in mind Jesus' admonition to 'Watch and Pray', on this website we will attempt to gather in one place as much information as possible to keep all who watch with us abreast of the events transpiring in our world that would herald the return of Jesus, and the end of the world as we presently know it. Also keeping in mind the admonition to be 'Sober Minded', sensationalistic interpretations of current events and scriptures have been intentionally avoided. Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. All of the above catastrophic world changing and world ending events are beginning to be experienced in 2011. The consequence of these events will be extreme planetary devastation and loss of life in the tens and hundreds of millions, even billions. The probability is very high that we are now entering the early stages of the Biblically prophesied 'End of the World'. If the by the end of 2012, millions have died as a result of events such as the ones listed above, then there will be no doubt left that the 'End of the World' has begun and it will culminate by the return of Jesus Christ to earth, by His Second Coming! |
